Call for abstracts now open!
The EONS11 conference will be held at the ESMO meeting in Munich in October (19-23). We have a packed and exciting three-day cancer nursing track ready for you which will take place from 20-22 October.
We would like to inform you that the call for abstracts related to our five themes is now open: cancer nursing leadership, symptom management, patient safety, new cancer research and cancer nurse roles. The deadline for submissions is 9 May – please submit your abstract here.
EONS is offering opportunities to their members to win a free registration to the congress. Shortly our European Cancer Nursing Day website will go life and you will see there is a competition “Step into the Spotlight”, offering two travel grants of 600€ to cover the costs associated with EONS conference attendance including conference registration, flights, travel or accommodation. So stay tuned for the ECND website coming up soon!
EONS is also again offering the Novice Research Dissemination Awards. The award is open to applications from nurses with no experience of presenting their research outside their own country and less than five years’ experience of research. As part of the prize, the winners will receive free registration to the ESMO 2018 Congress along with funding towards their travel and accommodation expenses from EONS. EONS will be organizing its General meeting and Advisory Council meeting on Friday 19 October in the Conference venue before the opening ceremony so please note the date in your agenda. There will be plenty opportunities of networking with your colleagues from all over Europe!
Registration for EONS11 will open in the second half of March. Nurses attending EONS11 will also have access to all ESMO sessions, posters, submitted abstracts and teaching sessions.
